Mold remediation in Biglerville
Biglerville and the northern orchards have farmhouses that grew additions, mudrooms, and finished rooms over cellars that still behave like root cellars. That is a feature for apples and a problem for drywall. We work on the house and on attached spaces that share its air. A wet packhouse that does not connect to the living space is a different conversation.

Farmhouses are not 'just old'
An old house can be dry. The ones that call us usually added insulation against stone, closed the cellar vents, and started doing laundry in a room with no exhaust. We undo the part that is holding water, not the part that makes the house historic.
If you want the cellar to stay a cellar, we will clean what is colonized and help you keep paper and drywall out of it. That is a successful outcome.
Outbuildings
If a room over a wagon shed was turned into a bedroom, it is in scope. If the barn is wet and separate, we will tell you if we can help or if you need a different kind of contractor.
Local notes
- Root-cellar foundations are supposed to be cool and damp. The failure is finishing them without a moisture strategy.
- Mudroom additions on slabs catch boot water and washing-machine leaks.
- Well and pump rooms get forgotten until the joists above them bloom.
