What is a mold clearance test?

After the work, a sample — often air, with an outdoor comparison — checks whether the cleaned area looks like ordinary air again. There is no Pennsylvania gold seal that says 'passed.' Someone competent has to read the types and the amounts and say whether the job needs another pass.

Clearance is not a warranty that a future leak will stay clean. It is documentation that this remediation did not leave an obvious airborne mess. Buyers and some insurers ask for it. On a tiny job it is optional.
