Do essential oils or foggers kill mold?

They can make a room smell like a different room. They do not dry a joist, remove wet drywall, or fix a downspout. Some people are irritated by the oils themselves. A fogger blown through a dirty air handler distributes scent and dust.

If a proposal is mostly a spray and a recurring plan, ask what material will be removed and what moisture number they are aiming for. If there is no number, you are buying perfume.
