Which rooms get mold most often in Gettysburg houses?
Basements and crawls first, especially stone foundations after rain or thaw. Then attics with bath fans or ice dams. Then HVAC closets in damp cellars, bathroom ceilings, and exterior closets that never get airflow. Finished basement bedrooms are the room we most often tell people not to rebuild until the wall is dry.
The living room is rarely the source. It is where you smell the floor system. Start the search one level down or one level up.
