How do professionals test for mold?

We start with a visual inspection and moisture meters, because those find the water. When the question needs a lab, we take non-viable air samples and an outdoor control, or a tape lift of a surface. You get the lab sheet and a plain-language next step.

We do not need to test every room to look thorough. Extra cassettes are for extra questions, and you should know why each one is being pulled. Results usually take a few business days.
